Karma's core business is to reduce and prevent food waste in the food industry, so they see their own growth completely interlinked with positive climate action. As a society, we are throwing away 1.3 billion tons of perfectly good, edible food each year. Karma's product aims to tackle this issue by allowing users to buy surplus food at a discount price. Outside their core business, they're are also aware of their own impact on the planet. Karma carbon offset their energy and any essential travel, and of course, always eating surplus!
